Curb appeal is the look and feel you get from the outward appearance of a home and its surrounding grounds. It's a first impression as to what you might expect once you step inside the home.  With a good curb appeal presence, you set the stage of an inviting place to call home for potential buyers.

The S&P/Case-Shiller Index shows that values of Seattle-area houses rose about half a percent in June, bringing the index to 149.53.

The Index, which reached it's nadir in May, is now at its highest point since February.

Eighteen of the twenty regions surveyed showed a gain from May to June, nationwide, values were up 1.37%
